She's BACK!!

Here's britney performing Womanizer on X-Factor!! Her performance gave me goosebumps... It was awesome!! I especially love it when she goes all out towards the end!!

She's baaaaack!!

Ta-Dah!!

Yay!! It's done!! I bought my tree yesterday and all the little decorations for it... Balls, ribbon, snowflakes, and singing lights... Costed me a month's salary, but hey, who cares!! Christmas is christmas!! Riiiiggght?! Hehe!! Still a bit bothered though that Christmas balls are THAT expensive!!

Anyways, I got home at 1 am last night and started working on the tree right away... I assembled it layer by layer and fluffed every level, branch by branch!! That's what you call LOVE right?!? Hehe!! Anywhoo, I do think I did go a bit overboard with the balls, BUT I LOVE IT!!! The tree looks better up close though. These pictures do my tree no justice!! NO JUSTICE I tell you!!

I stopped at 6 am... I was dead tired...
I woke up at 12, and added the finishing touches!!
Hope you guys like it...
Cause I do!!

Don't mind the nasty background of my beeyotiful tree!!

Isn't she lovely?

It's Dec 1 tomorrow!! Christmas is right around the corner!! Yay!! I'm soooo feeling Christmas right now!! =)

Bolt

B and I saw Bolt last night... It was sooo adorable... I kept laughing with "the make your puppy face" scene... Hahahaha!! That was funny... Like most animation movies that have been released, the production is great. The effects and all that good stuff was vivid and well done... The characters, Bolt, Mittens, and Rhino were fairly established throughtout the movie. It was pretty obvious what role they played, and what emotion they'll try to get from you... Personally, I loved Rhino!! His spunk and love for Bolt was endearing... =)

Audiences who are expecting something with a little more depth though, will definitely be disappointed. The movie is simple but very enjoyable. Something that requires no thinking and not much cringing. Perfect for a quiet and care-free night. =) Enjoy!!

The Perfect Xmas Tree

So after a week of looking for the perfect tree... I've narrowed down my choices to two:

This is the one from SM, 9 ft for 9800

This is the one from Living Well, 8 ft 7650; 10 ft 9650
If I might add, the trimmings and other decorations are so pretty in Living Well...
Am sooooo EXCITED!!

Hmmm... This is so hard!! I have to decide by this afternoon because am buying everything tonight so that everything's up before December creeps in.

This is my peg... Jah-Jah's Christmas tree... I love it!! Isn't it just sooo-OH-OH adorable!! The big balls and the huge pine cones are just so HO HO HO "Christmasy". It's divine!! (And yes, there's a tree underneath that.)

Sasha Is Fierce!

TELL ME WHO'S FIERCE!!

The release of Beyonce's double disc album has proven that Beyonce is in fact... FIERCE!! Her album is number #1 on the Billboard 200 with sales of more than 482,000 copies on it's first week!! Congrats Beyonce... oops sorry... Sasha!!

I'M SOOOO OH-OHOH-OH LOVIN' THE ALBUM!!! Almost every track is HOTTT!!

Diva will be her next single, which isn't one of my favorites, but is also good!! Waiting for Ave Maria, Video Phone, or Broken Hearted Girl to come out!! My album faves!!

A shot of Beyonce on the DIVA video shoot
Since I can't post her album... I will post the UNOFFICIAL remix of If I Were A Boy With R. Kelly!! This is love!! Just love the song!!

What's the HOLD UP?!?!

Driving to work today, I was feeling pretty good... The weekend's just right around the corner, and to make it even better, Monday's a holiday... So LONG WEEKEND!! Woohoo!! My dad even asked me if we should go out of town this weekend!! Haha!! Which he never does, so I was pleasantly surprised to have him ask me that... =)

But, sadly… all good things end there... Hoping to get to work early today, I left the house at 7… God! Was I in for a surprise… Traffic was horrendous!! Every corner I went, every little alley way, cars were lined up by the dozen… Grrr!! I’ll admit that I might have a light case of road rage, but my god!! The traffic made my road rage reach new levels… I got to work at exactly 9… =( Aargh…

Anyways, I do have a lot of things to do today… Surprise surprise!!

Til tomorrow…

BTW, are they building another elevated U-TURN on C5?! Gosh... I'm guessing traffic's definitely going to be bad the coming months... Theres goes my 7 hours of sleep...

Magic 89.9

Can I just say that I love Goodtimes with Mo Twister & company!! My god, I was laughing my ass off again this morning... The topic was about Grace Lee's sex life! And it was DAMN funny!!

I'm still blaming Gwen Garci though for making me addicted to this show!! I love it!!

Also, I love Boys Night Out... I remember their episode where they were giving away a car... charger!! That was hilarious!! Haha!!

Thank God my cd player in the car broke, then I wouldn't have been able to find out about these shows... But then again, I think, maybe it's high time, I  get it repaired na... Or better yet, replaced... Hmmm...

What do you think??

It's Thursday!!

I love Thursdays!! I don't know why, but I love it!!

Anyways, I get paid tomorrow! Yay!! My second paycheck... This is so going to be fun... Hehe!! I'm actually already listing down gifts for people... And I told B to decide what picture to use for our card which will be included in all the joint gifts... Hehe!! So no choice ka na!!
Anyways, I love Christmas... I love packing gifts!! (also opening gifts, hehe, if you get my drift??)... I get so creative when it comes to wrapping... Like last year, I packed all my gifts in Chinese carry-out boxes with little christmas ball ornaments hanging on the handles. Wasn't that cute? Hehe... Anyways, I already bought my packaging for this years se of gifts... I'm only missing the little "abubots" that will go with the "box" though, but am guessing that won't be that hard anymore... Am so excited for xmas... So so SOOO EXCITED!!

I should start buying gifts though... Maybe this weekend??
Am still thinking though what I should get myself this year??
Hmmm.... Bose Iphone Speakers?? Or even the JBL ones... Hmmm...
Segue naman, speaking of the Iphone, software update 2.2 was released a few days ago and so far, it's been pretty okay with my phone. No system crashes or sudden freezes. =) And also, I finally got the automatic dictionary turned off! Thank GOD!! How hard was it to text in tagalog when the automatic feature keeps changing the word!! Haha!! That was hell!! Makes me miss my Nokia from time to time... Hehe.

Anyways, The Bunny just came...
Work, work, work!!

Til tomorrow!!

Feeling The Christmas Spirit

Am feeling very "Christmasy" today. I don't know if it's because i've been looking for a tree for the past two days or because December is just oh-so-damn close... But anyhwoo, I LOVE IT!! I love being oh-so JOLLY and oh-so HAPPY!! So ho ho ho!!!

Are you all feeling the Christmas spirit yet?

KFC Cruelty

To those who know me, know that I love KFC! I could devour 4 pieces of chicken in less than 10 minutes!! Yummm!! But after seeing this video, I'm forced to think twice about eating there again.... =(

Watch more videos at KentuckyFriedCruelty.com.

Don't you feel bad for the chickens??
God!!

Side A, Freestyle, & MYMP

You can call me corny, old school, and most likely a loser, but hey, I love Side A and Freestyle (the Top Suzarra days). So i'll see if B wants to watch this with me...

DEC 1 at Araneta, 8PM...

Gosh I hate going to Araneta though... It's sooo-OH-OH duper far... And quite frankly, the QC crowd is sooooo "QC"!

Hehe... scary!!

Books To Movies

I loved Twilight (the movie)… Good thing I didn’t finish reading the book though, because from what I heard, my friends said the book was soo-OH-OH much better, (which didn’t surprise me at all). Most novel inspired movies usually fall short from the original book. Novels are intended to paint the picture for us, to transport us mentally into the protagonists’ position, and to feel the angst and frustration of the antagonist. Movies on the other hand are visually intended to entertain us, to lay the foundation of the movie, to paint the plot, to come to a climax, and to finally result in an ending, all within 2-3 hours. So in my opinion, novel-inspired movies should be, most of the time, spared from being compared to the actual novel itself.

Good thing most of the books that I have read are not, or have not yet been translated into film. =)

With that, here are the top three books that I DID love (and of course read) that were totally simplified and terribly translated into film.

1. The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown
Unless you’ve been living under a rock or hibernating in a cave for the past 4 years, then you would've probably heard of the Da Vinci code. The book was awesome. I finished the book in two days. I couldn’t put it down. I couldn’t wait what Robert Langdon was going to do next! It was truly a page turner. The movie on the other hand hurried several parts which killed the beauty and laborious details of the book. It was a major let down for me.
I do hope Angels & Demons The Movie makes up for the disaster that was The Da Vinci Code The Movie. I loved Angels & Demons! It was my favorite between the two. I sooo can't wait!!

2. Great Expectations by Charles Dickens
The book was so nice. I read this during 8th grade for Mr. Hughes English class. I'll be honest, I was a bit bored at first, but as soon as the story started to build up, I couldn't stop reading it. It was such an easy read and the plot had me amazed with its vivid descriptions and surprise twists (especially the ending). The movie on the other hand took the basic concept of the book and made it "modernized" (hopefully i'm using the correct word to describe it). I loved Gwyneth Paltrow's character. I loved her there! But the movie as a whole was missing a lot from the book. Was gravely disappointed.

3. The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks
I read this book amidst the mending of a broken heart. It was a beautiful and heart-warming love inspired book that helped me see the bigger picture of the love issues I had on my plate... I was touched by Noah's determination and loyalty to his one true love... I loved the ROMANCE... The movie was actually quite good, well, that is IF YOU DIDN'T READ THE BOOK!!!

'Til tomorrow you guys...

A Broken Heart

Today is November 26, 2008.

I woke up at 6:00am.
I woke up with a sudden urge to check my email.
Strangely enough, I got an email from BFF Trace.
She said that she was single again…

She woke up. =(

If there was one time I wanted to be wrong, it was with my BFF’s current relationship.

I wanted to be wrong that long distance relationships don’t work.
I wanted to be wrong that more often than not, the love will fade.
I wanted to be wrong that love requires constant upkeep.
I wanted to be wrong that love is never enough.
I wanted to be wrong…
But I wasn’t…

I was right…

Save LIPSTICK JUNGLE

So NBC decided to air all of season 2 of the series! Thank GOD!! I love Lipstick Jungle, and it killed me with how they ended it with last weeks episode... It was a cliffhanger and more than that, it was a heartbreaker... I was too devastated to talk about it last week because it would've really just made me crave for more episodes...

The show is awesome!! I swear!!

So to know that NBC will finish the season was a breath of fresh air from the terrible Monday that I had, and to add to that, if the show receives enough watchers, *keeping my fingers crossed*, NBC said that they will push the series to season 3! Yay!

Such great news... Happy Tuesday everyone!!

Oh yeah, please take the time and sign this peition to save the series:
I LOVE LOVE LOVE LIPSTICK JUNGLE!!!

Here's more great news:

OneRepublic finally released my favorite song off their Dreaming Out Loud album... Come Home... The track is soooo-OH-OH moving. The song was played in an episode of Gossip Girl last season, and right there and then, I fell in love with the song. The release now is being re-recorded with Sara Bareilles (who is so BOMB!! I love her!! Her album is one of my faves this year), so that is definitely great news...
Hoping for more great news today... =)
Starting to smile!!

Shopping For A Tree...

Today is a better day...
Fewer thoughts lingering in my head...
Fewer problems creeping in...
Fewer words have to be said...

Today is simply...
A better day...

I will be canvassing for a christmas tree this week. Trying to tune myself in to the christmas spirit that I love so much... My dad finally agreed to changing that horror of a tree in our living room... Thank god!! (Now if I could just convince him to buy a new house, then we'd be all set...)

Will be watching the Twilight premiere later at GB. (thanks RR!) I've had the book for over 5 months now and somehow I never got the chance (or had the time) to read it, until recently. I read 200++ pages while waiting for my flight back to Manila... That was a lot... But after that, I stopped and started reading a new book for work... The bore that is Search Engince Optimaztion. Still trying to drag myself to gather enough energy to actually finish reading it...

Anyways, i have tons of work today... Will get started with it, I guess...

Til tomorrow....

Cereal, Wasabi, and Pad Thai!

For the past month, I've been trying to find some spare time to sit down and write something about my trip to Singapore... The things that I saw, what I did, how it was, etc, etc, ETC! But sadly to say, somehow, whenever I did try to compose myself and try to write something, I couldn't...

So with that, I'll just share the top three dishes that I could've eaten over and over and over while I was there...

1. Prawn Cereal: This was awesome! Who would've thought cereal and prawn would go so well together. The cereal was extremely crunchy with hints of parsley, sugar, chillies, and salt... It was a burst of flavor (and texture) in my mouth. I loved it!

2. Wasabi Ice Cream: I was shopping around, near Bugis (I think) and I saw this discreet looking ice cream stand that served various Japanese inspired ice cream. There was Matcha, Red Bean, Sakura w/Choco Chips (I think that's cherry), and the one that I tried, Wasabi. At first, I was a bit hesitant since I couldn't imagine the flavors complementing each other, but it did. The ice cream had subtle hints of wasabi, and if that wasn't enough, at the end, your palette gets a kick of the wasabi heat that we (referring to wasabi lovers) love so much. It was heaven!!

3. Pad Thai: Pad Thai nowadays is quite common. I mean if you can order it in a karaoke bar (Top Grill along Jupiter), then you know its gotta be common. The best Pad Thai I've tried so far was in this extremely modern Thai restaurant in Siam Paragon. I forgot the name of the place, but if I remember correctly, it was right beside this adorable French restaurant on the ground floor. Anyways, the pad thai I tried in Singapore was located on the food court level of the mall right across Lucky Plaza (forgot the name of the mall). The restaurant was named Waan Waan Thai Restaurant. It was pretty shabby, given that it was just part of the food court, but their pad thai was to die for... I don't know how to explain it, but it was perfect. I loved it!!

Runner Up:
Laksa: This was also good... I just couldn't imagine myself eating this over and over and OVER... It was spicy and blissfully creamy. Reminds me of daddy's sugpo with cocconut milk and kamias! YUM!! The Otah that came with it though was rather icky. It looked like... ummm... feces... and tasted like... umm... rotting cassava cake. It was awful. But the laksa was just yum... Hmmm...

It's A Cold Day...

It was 6:30. I needed to wake up...
But I couldn't...

I had my cloud-like comforter wrapped around me...
My room was hellishly cold...
Teri (my yaya) came in and woke me up...
Completely missing the shower, I got dressed...
Thank God everything was already packed...

Left the house by 7:30... Wished I asked for a driver today...
The office, as usual, is silent...
All you hear are keyboards "clacking" away...
The air is freezing...
The huge Carrier air-conditioner is on full blast...

The dead air of silence is ringing in my head...
My phone is on loud, but no one's texting...
It's a cold day... It's a sad day...
It's a Monday... :-(

2008 BMW X3

I am but a simple man... With simple dreams and simple needs...

So, with that being said, I am dreaming of the 2008 BMW X3!! I'm so in love with this car... It's the perfect size for me... The interiors are beautiful and its soooo O-O-O GWAPO!! Gawd!! The X5 is on the same level of awesomeness, but this is so much smaller and perfect for me... Hmmmm... I love it!!

Is it a sign that I saw it 5 times this morning.... Hmmmm...

See, I'm simple... =)

It's That Time Of The Year Again!!

Christmas is just around the corner and I can't wait to go shopping for gifts... I believe in the saying "it's better to give, than to receive", but, honestly, I still wouldn't mind receiving for a change... Hehehe...

Anyways, am feeling the christmas spirit already!! So Ho Ho Ho!!
Only wished, our xmas tree was festive... Looks like it was runover by a truck... =(

Anyways, I love answering these forwards during Xmas!! (or any holiday for that matter)

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? - Wrapping paper of course... Ripping presents open tops my list of simple pleasures....

One True Love

It's been two days since I last posted anything on the site. Been a bit preoccupied with work and a bit busy trying to find time to run my errands. So sorry for that (to anyone who actually reads this blog)... Anyways, am really lovin Brit's album... I seriously love it!!

Anyways, I've been dying to watch "One True Love". Like I said in my previous posts, I'm a sucker for cheeezy (and extremely BADUY) movies. Maybe that's why I enjoy watching Filipino movies... Hehe. But of course, to try to save myself a little dignity, I watch Pinoy movies in the "less frequented" malls such as Gale, Megs, Market, MOA, and G4. So at least I achieve some type of balance there. Hehe. Anyways, B and Jon denied my invitation to watch the movie, so I guess, I have no choice than to patiently wait for it on DVD or Cinema One... I'm quite sure my eyes will be swollen after. I love crying...

Speaking of One True Love, is it just me or does Marian Rivera look a lot like to Antoinette Taus?? Hmmm.... Maybe Ding-Dong is secretly still in love with Antoinette. Yuck, I'm discussing showbiz!! Hahaha!! By the way, my car stereo broke like a month ago so basically i've been listening to the radio, A LOT!! Been too lazy to look for a new stereo!! Hehe... Anwyays, I love Mo Twister's show!! I kept laughing during Forbidden Questions with Gwen Garci!! She was so transparent and not a bit stingy with her answers! God! I loved it!! I love her!! I feel sorry for the guy she called out though.. the guy with the small wang-wang. Hahaha!!

Anyways, it's my dad's birthday tomorrow!! Yay!! Hope he likes my gift. Will head to bed... Am a bit sleepy.
Goodnight you guys... 'Til tomorrow.

I just had wasabi green peas!! Yum!!

Am craving for Wasabi ice cream now... Yum!!
Wished they had this here... I love it!! Yum!!

It was the perfect mix of spiciness and sweetness... The product description was right on the money. The subtle yet extremely strong taste of wasbi was just so PERFECT!!
Mmmm... Am craving for this now...

Maybe I should try making it.... =)

Under The Weather...

I'm not feeling too good today. Didn't have enough energy this morning to actually get up and go to work. It was like waking up with aheavy hangover from the night before, which most of you might have guessed isn't how things went down on Sunday.

It was Rihanna and Chris Brown's concert (so of course I was there), and might I say that it was truly a great show. Though Chris Brown's voice was giving out (maybe because he came from a previous concert from who knows where) after the 3rd song, he totally made up for it by dancing like a mad man on x. He was what we Filipinos would say, "nagpapacute", which, from the looks of it worked because he had more than half the crowd screaming in adoration (mostly girls, of course). Rihanna on the other hand was SPECTACULAR!! Though my review might be a bit biased (okay, VERY BIASED) cause i'm a die-hard Rihanna fan, I thought she rocked the show!! Her voice isn't anywhere as good as, hmmm, let's say Mariah or Leona, but her stage presence, and her songs were definitely off the (wait for it....) HEEZY! Hehehe... I was dancin and singing throughout her entire set and i loved it!! It was truly surreal. I couldn't believe how beautiful she was in person!! She looked like she was having so much fun on-stage, or maybe that was just me. Hehehe!!

Anwyays, will talk more tomorrow... Am tired... My back hurts... Maybe I should get a massage... What do you think?

'Til tomorrow.

Lipstick Jungle is Cancelled

Grrrr!! Just opened yahoo now and the first thing I see is that NBC cancelled two of its primetime shows!! That sucks!! I love Lipstick Jungle... Grrrr!!

What a sad day it is...
My day, so far, ISN'T IMPROVING!!!
Improve!! Improve!! IMPROVE!!!

Last Night and Today...

It's Friday!! Here comes the weekend... Yay!!

I do hope the day gets a whole lot better since it started out pretty rough for me... I woke up pretty late today cause of a crazy and stupid panic attack last night... I thought I lost my wallet at home... GASP!! And given that I looked for it for like an hour, I started pointing fingers in my head and thought the boy or either of the two guards stole it... Haaay... I know, I know!! I hate myself for thinking that, but it was a thought I couldn't help run through my head... I did find it though, (THANK GOD!) under my bed. Hahaha!! Good thing I literally didn’t say or accuse anyone of stealing it... Or else, I'd feel really, really bad...

Anywhoo, last night, B and I ate at John and Yoko, or shall I say a "shusyal" version of Sumo Sam (same owners, Marvin Augustin)... The food was quite common and there wasn't really much of a difference between the selection of food from the latter two restos. My dad actually likes the food at Sumo Sam, (we used to eat at the Rockwell branch at least once a week... well, that was until we saw a cockroach on the chair). Anyways, B and I ended up ordering the There Goes Your Diet Platter and an extra order of maguro and their New York Fried Maki. God! After a few minutes, our table was filled with food good for 6!! Waaah!! Given my anticipation of eating here and the several great reviews that I read on the net, I pretty much expected more than what I actually got. The food wasn't unique nor did anything stand out. I did however enjoy the bottomless colored iced teas. Unlike Mom & Tina's, who I think simply uses artificial food coloring to color their teas, John & Yoko, I’m guessing, uses syrup, which gave a subtle hint of flavor to the tea.

After an hour, we were quite full with plenty of food left over. So we got everything wrapped and started to walk around to look for a place to have dessert. I saw this so so SO nice Ben Sherman button down at dotdotdot that i'm soooo loving!! I didn't wanna fit it because God knows, I probably would've ended up buying it... Hehehe... After an hour of going through GB3 - GB2 - and GB1, we ended up right back in GB5 and had dessert at Damaso. Hahaha... Guess we just wanted to let the food settle down before we ate again... Hehehe...

B, predictably had Brazo, while I got their Dayap cheesecake. Yummm... Only wished I ordered something light though... The stroll didn't do much for me, so I was pretty much still stuffed... Hmmmm...

Anwyays, the night was okay... it was subtle but nice. =)

Today, I do the hope the day goes by smoothly. I had a minor case of road rage this morning… Arrgh… Won’t go into that… Hehe… Will probably go to MOA later to check B’s floating store then hopefully we’ll get a chance to watch a movie… Passengers?? Hmmm…

Anyways, til tomorrow.

Rihanna’s concert is on Sunday!! Yay!!

Thursday, November 13, 2008

Yay! It's Thursday!!!

Here it comes... the weekend... Yay!!
It's.... THURSDAY!! Yay!!
And I get my first payheck tomorrow... Yay!!
And the am watching Rihanna and, cge na nga, Chris Brown, on Sunday!! Yay!!
Am more than excited... Am ecstaticly enthused about Sunday!!
Get your UMBRELLAS ready girls! It's gonna rain!! (metaphorically speaking, I hope)

So many reasons to be happy this weekend... Hehe... And today is a good day... The 13th is always a good day... Will have dinner at John and Yoko tonight... FINALLY!! Been wanting to eat there since it opened, since I love anything Japanese, but somehow, something always got in the way... So hum hum… Can't wait for that...

I ended up just hitting the grocery last night. Wasn't able to get my massage, but I guess I’ll try to do that over the weekend. I bought so much last night. I was in my own little "state of health" per se. I bought like a year's supply of shredded wheat. Haha! My mom looked at me like I was crazy when I gave her the receipt, But she still took it though (meaning she'll pay for it)... =) Also got some yogurt, fruits, a bunch of fruit juices, and my now favorite snack food of all time, Vinamit! (it's all Cheryl's fault). So yummy!! And the crunch of it is sooooo addicting... My mom and I finished a whole bag last night while watching Project Runway... I think she’s secretly addicted to it as well.

Speaking of Project Runway, I was quite happy with the results. I'm glad Aries won. Phillip's was also nice and extremely well executed, but I thought Aries' concept was a whole lot FUNNER!! Hmmm, I’m no fashion expert... given that my closet consists mainly of Ralph Lauren and Lacoste collared tops and Topman plain tees, but I thought Aries' whole concept was very NOW. Hehe. I loved the suit he made.

Anyways, I didn't get to post music last night... sucks... Will try my best tonight, but I honestly can't promise anything anymore since I get home so late nowadays, and ironically, I wake up pretty freakin’ early, but you know, work is work… and am enjoying my time here even though half the time am rotting in my chair doing nothing… And plus, I do wanna stay here for at least a year or two. =)

On a better note, am really lovin' Beyonce's album... I got the deluxe edition, and all I can say is that I loved it... She does so well with the ballads... Just beautiful... Though the whole two album scheme was totally unnecessary since I’m quite sure all 16 songs would've fit on one CD, I would however, still buy it for the overall "bombness" and greatness of the tracks. I SO LOOOOOVED IT!!

I guess she just really wanted to show her two sides (I guess)... One being Beyonce (CD 1: I am... Beyonce) and the other Sasha Fierce (CD2: I am... Sasha Fierce). My only question is... of all the names? Sasha Fierce? Like Sasha wasn't fierce enough that she literally had to add fierce to it... God... That's where I think she over did it...

Note to self: If I wanna be fierce, I'd have to change my name to Cy Fierce!! or Mercedes Fierce... =) hmmm... maybe not... Am not feeling fierce at all...

I’m planning a trip for Bora this January… Canvassing prices right now… Am thinking of where to stay… Since my parents are paying for it, hehe, I’m thinking Discovery shores… But am also thinking that it’ll be just too far from everything. My brother and sister are going, so they’d probably wanna be in the center of it all… Hmmm… Regency??

Gosh, it’s already 11, and I haven’t done anything in the office yet… Good thing no one is looking… Anyways, will try to post more soon…

‘Til tomorrow. =)

A Ferocious Wednesday!

I'm feeling pretty good today... I woke up all hyper and perky and happy.
Bad thing is that I can't let out my "sun-shy-ni" mood in the office cause from the looks of it, half the people here in the office are walking (or more like working) asleep. Hehe. Everyone's so quiet and timid (but very nice and friendly naman)... Or maybe it's because am not comfortable with them yet... Hmmm...

Anywhoo, it's only 10AM and am already hoping that it's 5:50 so that I could start packing up. Hehe... Didn't do much yesterday, but will try to make up for it today. Hmmm..

Am thinking what to do after work... Of course hit the gym... Thinking of getting a massage as well; my body's hurtin like a mug. But I also wanted to go down to Rockwell to pick my monthly supply of products from Shiseido... I'm out of lotion and my can't live without eye gel is up to its last drop... I'll see...

I also stopped my hydroxydase diet today... last night was my last two bottles of hydroxydase, and might I say, not much happend.

Did I lose weight? No
Did my excessive sweating lessen? No
Did I make frequent stops to the bathroom? Hmmm... once a day. =)
Did I feel cleaner internally? Yup, but that was probably because I was drinking at least 5 gallons of water.

Judgement:
The products promise didn't really come through for me. For P110 a bottle ( 2 x day), it was pretty expensive... and I suggest that for people who actually would like to detoxify to try my simple yet very hardcore detoxing diet of apple juice, lemon juice, and organice maple syrup... Will go into detail in a future post.

Will post a lot of music tomorrow!! Mostly a lot of club music since that's the type of music blogger doesn't that take down... and probably some more Boyce Avenue.

Jole from earpleaser.blogspot.com ripped them from youtube, so will take it form him. Thanks Jole.

Hopefully, today is a fun day.
'Til tomorrow. =)

Climbing Out

Yesterday, surprisingly, I had a fairly good workout.. God! I think my last real good workout was like 2 months ago... I mean I've been hitting the gym regularly, but somehow, my workout hasn't resulted or amounted into anythng. In physical trainer terms, or better yet, working out terms, I guess you'd probably call that hitting a plateau; a flat and steady phase where your daily workout routine will result to less than favorable results... I guess my body got used to my old workout and needed a change...

So basically, I have no choice but to change my routine and work on a new workout this. With that, I bought a new workout book last week... Will hopefully start reading it tonight... =)

Or maybe I should finish Twilight first... Hmmmm...

Anywhoo, David "I love your album" Archuleta... Loving his album. Though a bit pop and somewhat very "i'm new in the music industry"-ish, it was still good... It had a lot of good "poppish" beats and pretty simple lyrics, but the songs did its magic and scratched the right spots... Standouts were Don't Let Go, Running, You Can, A Little Too Not Over You, Barriers, My Hands, and of course, the pop candy, Crush...

Archuleta fans would definitely appreciate the album... Given that I was a David Cook fan, what more, for the Arche followers... So with that, am in much anticipation for David Cook's album... As always, I soooo can't wait...

Also, last night, I helplessly got attached to my pc and updated myself with the current episodes of the series I follow. Had like 3 episodes each of Lipstick Jungle and ANTM and the season finale of Project Runway... My PC is my TiVo!!

Gosh!! I love Lipstick Jungle!! It's no Sex and the City, but it is still super.... Just super!! I love love LOVE the girls here!! I was trying to choose a favorite, either, Wendy, Nico, or Victory... and I couldn't decide... God! I love it!! All their storylines are so much more deeper than SATC. I love the drama, the shallow fights, and the struggles they go through!! God!! Can't wait for this weeks episode.... Nico finaly said it and Victory finally found out... Anyways, I won't give any spoilers to those who do watch the series... But I'm betting that it'l definitely be good...

And oh yeah, it's Tuesday!! Gossip girl download day!! Yay!!

Anyways, I should get back to work.... Or at least get back to looking like am working... Hehehe

'Til tomorrow. =)

Good Ol Monday!!

Is it just me or did the weekend go by pretty fast?? Aaargh!!

Well, I guess it's back to another week of work...
God... How bad is it that am already hoping it's Friday tomorrow....

Well, like I said, the weekend went by fairly quickly. Two of my closest friends and I went up to Thunderbird Resorts to basically just unwind and relax... We barely left the room; just stayed in bed, while Jon uploaded pics and played poker on Facebook. The DVD's I bought didn't work, so we were bsically stuck to watching ABS-CBN. Gosh!! Made us even tired to get out of bed...

We did however manage to go swimming on Sunday and try to catch some sun to somehow salvage our fading tans! TAN SAVED!!!

After we left Thunderbird Resorts, we headed over to Robinson's Place to watch House Bunny cause it was now only showing in two cinemas (tsk tsk)... Robinson's Place Ermita and Robinson's Metro East... Gosh!! I've been wanting to watch that since mid-October because it was loosely being compared to Legally Blonde (which is like one of my favorite movies... EVER!!), so we had no choice but to haul our asses and make the trip to one of the two malls. Robinson's place was the most practical out of the two, so hands down, we headed towards Malate.

Anywhoo, House Bunny was a fairly light and bubbly comedy. Anna Faris was hilarious playing the dumb playboy bunny thrown out of the playboy mansion... The movie was shallow, but funny... It did however fail to comapre or even come close to Legally Blonde levels, but it did however serve it's purpose in entertaining me... I would definitely recommend the movie to any shallow and easily pleased individuals. =)

On the other hand, Quantum Of Solace, which I watched last Friday before heading on out and up to Thunderbird, was, in my own personal opinion, lacking something or that extra umph. It wasn't as "action-packed" as I hoped it would've been. Don't get me wrong, I loved the movie and thought it was pretty good, but I believe it was becoming a bit too emotional for a James Bond movie. Guess I expected something different, or at least a different and not so cheezy ending...

Moving on... As I would've hoped last friday, we didn't get to eat at Foccacia, but am crossing my fingers that this week we do... Hmmm... I'm thinking of treating B there on my first paycheck... Or on Thursday... Hmmm... I'll see... I guess... Btw, blogger took out some more of my posts... Sucks... Took out my Lady Gaga and my Pussycat Dolls posts... Sucks!!

Tell you guys about my Singapore trip in a few days... The food there was awesome... Loved the laksa!!

Til tomorrow!! =)
And oh yeah, David Archuleta's album leaked on the net Saturday... Downloading it now!! I so can't wait to listen to it!! Heard it was good!!

What Do I Love More Than Thursday???

FRIDAY!!! and the weekend. =)

It's officially friday... Hoping to eat somewhere nice tonight... Hmmm... Hopefully, Foccacia. Been wanting to try out their pizza rolls (don't know the exact term for it). So am keeping my fingers crossed that we do end up eating there tonight. Yummm...

Probably won't go out this weekend... Trying to cut down on my liquor intake, and as a good friend would say, nagpapamiss din sa mga tao. Will update soon. =)

Happy Weekend you guys.
